Data collection on our website
Use of social plug-ins from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the “2-click solution”
Our website uses so-called social plug-ins (“plug-ins”) from the social networks Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Facebook is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). You can find an overview of the Facebook plug-ins and their appearance here: http://wbs.is/rom90.
Instagram is operated Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Rd, Menlo Park CA 94025,
In order to increase the protection of your data when you visit our website, the plug-ins are integrated into the page by means of a so-called “2-click solution”. This integration ensures that no connection is established with the respective Facebook, Twitter or Instagram servers when a page of our website containing such plug-ins is called up. Only when you activate the plugin and thus give your consent to the transmission of data, will your browser make a direct connection to the servers of Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. The content of the respective plug-in is transmitted directly to your browser and integrated into the page. By integrating the plugin, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram receives the information that your browser has visited the corresponding page of our website even if you do not have a user account or are not currently logged into Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. This information (including your IP address) is directly transmitted to a server of Facebook, Twitter or Instagram in the USA and stored there. If you interact with the plug-ins, e.g. press the “Like” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook, Twitter or Instagram server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and displayed to your contacts. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, Twitter or Instagram as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Facebook’s data protection information at http://wbs.is/rom91.

If you wish to contact us by e-mail, we would draw your attention to the fact that the confidentiality of the information transmitted cannot be guaranteed. We will not share this data without your permission.
We will therefore process any data you enter onto the contact form only with your consent per Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DGSVO. You may revoke your consent at any time. An informal e-mail making this request is sufficient. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.
We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until such time as you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision. You also agree that we will reply to you in unencrypted form in reply to the messages sent through the contact form.
Analysis tools and advertising
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. This is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, U.S.A.
Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google Analytics cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.
We have activated the IP anonymization feature on this website. Your IP address will be truncated by Google within the European Union or and the European Economic Area prior to transmission to the United States. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services regarding website activity and Internet usage for the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser within Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.
You can prevent cookies from being stored by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser; however, we wish to point out that by doing so, you may not be able to enjoy the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the data generated by cookies about your use of the website (incl. your IP address) from being passed to Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-us.

Contract data processing
We have entered into an agreement with Google for the outsourcing of our data processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Demographic features on Google Analytics
This site uses the “demographic features” feature of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated containing statements about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and third-party visitor data. This collected data cannot be attributed to any specific individual person. You can disable this feature at any time by adjusting the ads settings in your Google account or you can forbid the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the section “Refusal of data collection.”
Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).
As part of Google AdWords, we use so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad served by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that your Internet browser stores on your computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification of the user. Should the user visit certain pages of the website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the website can tell that the user clicked on the ad and proceeded to that page.
Each Google AdWords advertiser has a different cookie. Thus, cookies cannot be tracked using the website of an AdWords advertiser. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for the AdWords advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, advertisers do not obtain any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can opt-out of this by easily disabling the Google Conversion Tracking cookie by changing your browser settings. In doing so, you will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
“Conversion cookies” are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).
reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the data entered on our website (such as on a contact form) has been entered by a human or by an automated program To do this, reCAPTCHA analyses the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, how long the visitor has been on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses take place completely in the background. Visitors are not advised that such an analysis is taking place.
Data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its site from abusive automated crawling and spam.

Google is therefore aware that our web page was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web fonts is done in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our website.
